General Manager of Non-intensive Diabetes Therapies (NDT), Medtronic Diabetes
Laura Stoltenberg was named General Manager of Non-intensive Diabetes Therapies at Medtronic Diabetes in September 2014. Laura is leading the business unit tasked with the identification and rapid deployment of new, patient-centered technologies and product platforms to drive insulin delivery and continuous glucose monitoring penetration for the non-intensive (type 2) diabetes market.
Laura brings 20 years of experience in sales and marketing, strategy, corporate development and global general management in a market-leading, multi-national company. She most recently served as Chief Commercial Officer and Chief International Officer at Exact Sciences Corporation, a molecular diagnostic start-up, where her responsibilities included sales, marketing, market access and medical affairs. In that role, she developed the global commercialization strategy for a new cancer-screening test.
From 2007 through 2012, Laura served as Vice President and General Manager of GE Healthcare Lunar, a global expert in bone densitometry and body composition products, where she expanded the business’ market leadership, overseeing the launch of several new products, improved operating profitability, and expanded the units’ presence in international markets.
Before her role at Lunar, Laura worked in Business Development, spearheading strategy development and inorganic growth initiatives for the majority of the GE Healthcare business including Healthcare IT, Diagnostic Imaging, Services and Medical Diagnostics.
Laura earned an MBA from Columbia Business School, receiving Beta Gamma Sigma Honors, and Bachelor’s Degrees in Electrical Engineering and Management from Bucknell University. She also graduated with honors from GE’s Technical Sales Leadership Program, and completed specialized training in Six Sigma.
