myMedtronic Connect app: Now available for Android devices
You may have already used the free myMedtronic app if you have an iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad, and today, it is finally available for Android devices! The myMedtronic Connect app provides on-the-go support for our customers, with the ability to order supplies and accessories, access helpful tools, set reminders, get travel tips, and read the LOOP blog.
Here are the 5 sections of the myMedtronic App:
myOrder
This enables you to order your insulin pump and continuous glucose monitor (CGM) supplies, and accessories from the Medtronic online store. It also allows you to track your shipping.
Tools
The tools section includes video tutorials, tips for troubleshooting alarms and alerts, and a place to save your pump settings.
Reminders
There are 5 reminders you can set: changing out infusion sets, changing out sensors, checking blood glucose, ordering supplies, and a custom reminder.
Travel
This section provides you with a travel checklist, time zone change alert and tips, and travel tips including travel loaner program, airport security, using the device on an airplane, support outside the U.S., and updating the time.
Blog
Read, share, and/or receive push notifications for the latest posts from The LOOP.
We also have good news for you iPhone/iPad users: we’ve updated the app by reducing its storage size. In the previous version, all videos were automatically downloaded with the app. With this updated version, you can upload and remove the support videos as needed , freeing up space on your device. If you later decide you want to download the video again, it will still be there for you to do so.
Visit Google Play (for Android users), or the iTunes app store (for iPod, iPad, and/or iPhone users) to download the latest myMedtronic Connect app.
Let us know what you think of the updated app, and how you use it!

Any plans to release a mobile iOS version of the carelink blood sugar data tools currently accessible via desktop?
I sure hope so -- the lack of such an interface does not reflect well on Medtronic's understanding of their users
Hi David, you may be interested in our recently introduced product, MiniMed Connect. Designed to provide a mobile connection to critical information for managing diabetes, MiniMed Connect is the first product to enable people with diabetes to discreetly and conveniently view your insulin pump and CGM data on a smartphone and provides remote monitoring and text message notifications for your loved ones. It also gives healthcare teams more convenient access to more comprehensive patient data so they can adjust their patients’ care plans. Hello, Unfortunately Medtronic is notorious for being behind the times when it comes to modern app and software. Ie: Care-link (still uses java when no browser now uses it) I would like to give Medtronic some advice. Please open up your "care-link connect" app to more then 1 pump you should have this available on all your pumps, you should also expand this feature to things like Samsung Gear apps, Apple Watch apps, and Google Ware apps. so that a diverse customer base can monitor and manage there diabetes effectively. Picture this you have the 670G pump and you look at you Samsung gear 3 watch and at a glance you can see where you sugars are at any given moment you can see your graph of the last 3, 12,or 24 hours. without even having to pull out your pump. how convenient would that be? Your loyal Medtronic Pump user since 2006.
We appreciate the feedback, Sean. We know how important connectivity options are and we are working to make these features available on our pump systems. We plan to build upon our current connected care solutions to provide convenient options to access diabetes health information. We'll be sure to share more information as it is available.
