Video Assist

WHAT IS REAL-TIME VIDEO ASSIST?

Video assist allows our Diabetes Therapy Consultants to provide you with an overview of Medtronic’s insulin pump and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) products through a live video feed.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM REAL-TIME VIDEO ASSIST?

During the video assist session, a Diabetes Therapy Consultant can show you some features and give you a sense the product's size. This can be helpful if you haven't seen a Medtronic product in person. You can also see how simple it is to disconnect from the pump and how a pump can be worn with a belt clip.

Because video assist is one-way, you will not be able to send video to the consultant. Also, the camera is set up to only focus on the consultant’s hands as they show you different product features. Please note, real-time video assist does not replace product training.

DO I NEED SPECIAL EQUIPMENT?

The only equipment you'll need is a computer or laptop. Video assist is accessed through our website, and does not require any type of profile or login information.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

After submitting the Get Started form, a Diabetes Therapy Consultant will contact you within 24 hours to provide information on Medtronic products and answer any questions. At that time, the consultant will offer real-time video assist. If you have access to a computer, the consultant can start the video feed at that time. Video assist is completely optional. Filling out the Get Started form does not require you to participate, and you can change your mind at any time.
