Low blood glucose or hypoglycemia is when your blood glucose levels have fallen low enough that you need to take action to bring them back to your target range. This is usually when your blood glucose is less than 70 mg/dL. Some of the symptoms of low blood glucose include: feeling shaky, light-headedness, headache, blurred speech, perspiration, sudden mood swings or personality change.*

By offering an array of integrated systems with optional continuous glucose monitor, for pumpers and people on daily injections alike, Medtronic has a range of solutions tailored to your lifestyle and therapy management needs. That means less time focusing on your diabetes and more time enjoying every moment of every day.
A blood glucose meter only provides a brief “snapshot” of your glucose level at a single moment in time. A CGM system gives you a greater view of your glucose trends. CGM can provide valuable information at crucial points throughout the day. Medtronic offers CGM systems for people living with type 1 or type 2 diabetes.
