Update for Roche Accu-Chek Customers

You may have heard some recent changes with Roche diabetes business so I wanted to shed some light on the recent news. If you’re a Roche Accu-Chek customer, I want to assure you that we’re going to be here for you every step of the way. As of August 31, Roche will no longer be directly selling Accu-Chek insulin pump supplies. (Keep in mind that this will not impact anyone located outside of the U.S and Canada or our current Medtronic customers.)
We understand that pump therapy is a personal experience. Moving forward, anyone who currently uses Accu-Chek insulin pump supplies will have the option to purchase these directly though Medtronic. If you currently purchase your insulin pump supplies through a distributor, you can continue to purchase through them.
As a Medtronic customer, you’ll also have access to 24-hour technical product support, supply reorder services, and dedicated global customer support. Our unparalleled service is the #1 reason that people with diabetes stay with us and we’re excited to offer you the option to become part of the Medtronic family.
In the next few weeks, you’ll hear from us directly with clarity on next steps. For more information, visit our website to learn more about our services, support, and additional luer lock infusion set options. At Medtronic, we’re always by your side.

Which insulin reservoir would replace my 3.15 ml accuchek reservoir?
Susan, you can still purchase your same Accu-Vhek reservoirs directly with Medtronic.
You folks switched my wife’s infusion set from Accu-Chek to your own, and the new ones DON’T WORK. Your support people are saying that it’s because she has scar tissue that the insulin isn’t being delivered. Nonsense. She found an old Accu-Chek infusion set, and it works fine. You state here that you would still be providing the Accu-Chek product – is there a way to get her back on those?
Allen, thanks for checking in and I am very sorry to hear about your wife’s experience. At this time, we only have the compatible reservoirs available. I encourage your wife to speak with our 24-Hour HelpLine or her healthcare provider to discuss her options, as an alternate Medtronic infusion set may work for her. She can reach our team at 800.646.4633, option 1.
