Our customers often tell us how much they love their MiniMed insulin pump and CGM and how it helps them manage their diabetes, allowing them to focus on the things in life that matter most (family, friends, adventures etc.). But they also tell us that the decision to choose pump therapy was a big one – even a little daunting – and they had a lot of questions. While healthcare teams and the Medtronic team can answer many of them, just as many are best answered by someone who’s been down this road. Someone who lives with diabetes and knows first-hand what it’s like to live with an insulin pump and CGM. That’s why we created the MiniMed Ambassadors program.
The MiniMed Ambassadors program is all about sharing experiences with others, both the highs and lows, of living with diabetes and managing it with insulin pump therapy and CGM. We’ve brought together a group of passionate and experienced pumpers and caregivers with a diversity of ages, gender, geographic backgrounds across the US, and life experiences. One thing they all have in common is the desire to answer common questions and share experiences with others – all with the goal of helping others to realize that they are not alone in their diabetes journey.
If you or someone you know is thinking about insulin pump therapy, there’s an easy way to connect: visit the MiniMed Ambassador profile pages here. There you can browse through profiles of Ambassadors to find someone with similar interests or experiences and, at the click of a button, connect.
We are so thankful for our MiniMed Ambassadors and can’t thank them enough for their participation in this program. We’re lucky to be teamed up with such motivated people who are willing to give their free time to help others with diabetes. And if you think you might like to learn more about this program or apply, learn how you can possibly become an Ambassador here.
