I was told (and read an article) that my insulin will start to degrade if exposed to sunlight. I need to find something that will cover my tubing where it enters the pump. Any suggestions?
Maybe I`m a little bit inattentive but where can I get such stuff? I`m interested in waist pouch and sport case.
Marelin, check out our website here http://bit.ly/2BfbDd2 to view available case options.
I just received my Minimed 670G insulin pump starter kit. I am excited about using this new pump! I was supposed to receive a call from a woman from Medtronic Friday at 5pm to go over my starter kit items, but did not receive the call. I’m hoping someone will call me after work, 5:30pm on Monday, December 18th.
Deborah, I’m sorry we weren’t able to connect with you on Friday. If you send me an email at dhelp@medtronic.com with your contact information, I’ll get you connected with a teammate who can help.
Been a Minimed pump user for many years. Back when the 508 was my first one. I loved the wrap-around case, the leather of the case wraps around my belt. Was snug and worked well. Though the years I have upgraded but still like that design. Will the 670G have something more that style? The ones with the clip tend to fall off when I sit down and get back up at work.
Great suggestion, Jeremy. I don’t have any information available at this time, but I will be sure to share this with my team.
Naomi,
Where is the best place that I can find a case with a shoulder strap that can hold CGM Sensors (2), inserter & charger, Infusion Set & Reservoir (2), Insulin Vial, tapes & wipes, batteries, Insulin Pen (backup), syringes, Glucose Tablets and snacks, Pump clip (extra), Glucose Meter, Test Strips, Lancets.
Hey Roy, we don’t have exactly what you’re asking for but you can check out our carrying cases here: http://bit.ly/2oQnY4L. The “Diabete-ezy Multi-Fit case” is our largest available and might meet your needs.
Hi,
I am a new customer with Medtronic and have the MiniMed 670G system. I want to order the men’s pocket-shirts but the website only offers the women’s sizes.
They’re currently on sale as well and I would like to utilize the sale prices.
– Chris T.
Thanks for reaching out, Chris. Unfortunately, the sizes and options listed on the website are all that we have left available.
What belts or pouches are compatible with the 670G? The product descriptions are clear and the toll-free number didn’t connect me with anyone.
Nina, you can view our options at: https://medtronicdiabetes.secure.force.com/store/accessories/belts-pouches. The Sports Waist Pouch, Adult SPIbelt Waist Pouch, belt for Waist Pouch and belt for Leg Pouch all work for the MiniMed 670G system.
Have the minimed 630g but cannot source a belt case for it. Any ideas of where I can purchase?
Hi Brian – have you had a chance to check out our store with accessories? We have many products that might work for your MiniMed 630G insulin pump, including the Diabete-ezy Comfy Belt. https://medtronicdiabetes.secure.force.com/store/belts-pouches
Just went back on and medtronic’s MiniMed spent 3 weeks now and it’s caused nothing but arguments between me and my girlfriend because she doesn’t like to see the hose it keeps telling me to tuck it in but what she doesn’t understand every time I talking in and then remove it rips the catheter out doesn’t understand it needs Slack don’t know what to do I stopped wearing the pump last night and I’m tired of the arguments never snag on anything wearing it the way I like to wear explain to her that I’m the one that’s wearing not her don’t know what to do I’m going back to syringes for the sake of argument frustrated
Find a different girlfriend who is more understanding. That is a ridiculous thing for her to complain about.
I’m reading this months after you have posted, and hope you have returned to using your pump! If your girlfriend is still rejecting you with a pump, then I’d say it’s time to move on. Nothing-and I mean nothing- is more important than your health. I say wear yout pump proudly! If someone rejects you for wearing a life sustaining medical device, they do not belong in your life. Your significant other needs to accept all Of you! As your significant other, there is a lot she needs to learn about diabetes and maintenance. If she is not willing to accept your diabetes, it may be time to move on. I hope things have worked out for you.
Thanks for this interesting information and advice..
But i have a problem to buy accessories from medtronic diabetes shop! they don’t allowed international customer to order from online shop??!!!
Why they restrict the Billing address to be within the US?!! 🙁
I tried to order from Canada, UK, Australia,…etc the same problem?!!!!
Hi Ahmed. Each Medtronic Diabetes online store is specific to the region they support, so I recommend reaching out to your local team to see what accessories they offer in your region. You can find your local contact here: http://www.medtronicdiabetes.com/customer-support/international-contacts. Many of the accessories are available in each region. Hope this helps. Good luck!
