Louis Dias joined Medtronic Diabetes as our Chief Patient Officer in July 2015. Louis is responsible for putting patients’ voice at the center of all our business processes – from product development to customer service and everything in between. He brings more than 20 years of experience in customer insights, marketing strategy and innovation for companies like Johnson & Johnson Vision Care and Procter & Gamble.
Originally from Portugal, Louis earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston. He is fluent in French, German, Portuguese and Spanish. He loves sardines, sports (especially soccer), outdoor activities and spending time with his beautiful family – he and his wife Heather are proud parents of a son and two daughters.
