Katie Schmitz started working for Medtronic Diabetes in 2018 as a Principal Social Media Specialist. After almost a decade of experience working for global consumer brands, she jumped at the opportunity to use her skills to help improve the lives of people with diabetes and has never looked back. Since then, she is consistently impressed and inspired by the passion, kindness and warmth of the diabetes online community.
