Vice President of Research & Development, Medtronic Diabetes

Ali Dianaty joined the Diabetes Group at Medtronic in 2016 to lead the R&D organization for the Intensive Insulin Management (IIM) business unit. In this role, he was responsible for leading R&D efforts and establishing our technology roadmap in support of our long-term product portfolio strategy.

Prior to Medtronic, Ali served in roles of increasing responsibility at St. Jude Medical and the Boeing Company. He earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Northridge and an Executive MBA in Entrepreneurship from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management.
