Medtronic Diabetes Certified Pump Trainers
Patient education is another time-consuming activity for physicians. Rather than giving that responsibility to already-overwhelmed providers, we handle it with a nationwide network of certified pump trainers. All Medtronic Diabetes pump trainers are required to be licensed healthcare providers - assuring a high-standard of quality care.
Becoming a Medtronic Diabetes Pump Trainer
Licensed healthcare professionals are eligible to become a Medtronic Diabetes Pump Trainer. The following must be accomplished in order to become a Medtronic Diabetes Certified Pump Trainer:
- Successful demonstration of the operation of the Medtronic Diabetes pump following hands-on experience. This demonstration will be done for a Medtronic Diabetes Nurse Specialist.
- Completion of the Pump Trainer Application.
- Complete the trainer test after studying the Pump Trainer Manual and the Medtronic Diabetes Pump User's Guide.
- Submit the test to the Medtronic Diabetes Nurse Specialist.
