We are pleased to offer insulin pump upgrades to customers who are currently in-warranty on a MiniMed Paradigm^® 511, 512, 712, 515, or 715 Insulin Pump. By upgrading you will receive a recertified MiniMed Paradigm 522 or 722 Insulin Pump with valuable new features.1

New Features

When upgrading from a MiniMed Paradigm 515 or 715 Insulin Pump to a MiniMed Paradigm 522 or 722 Insulin Pump, you will have access to:

Continuous glucose monitoring technology – when you use the optional REAL-Time Continuous Glucose Monitoring Kit with your insulin pump, you will have access to REAL-Time glucose readings, safety alarms, trend arrows, and glucose trend data around the clock.

When upgrading from a MiniMed Paradigm 512 or 712 Insulin Pump to a MiniMed Paradigm 522 or 722 Insulin Pump, you will have access to:

Continuous glucose monitoring technology – when you use the optional REAL-Time Continuous Glucose Monitoring Kit with your insulin pump, you will have access to REAL-Time glucose readings, safety alarms, trend arrows, and glucose trend data around the clock.
Secure access to CareLink™ Personal software. The system transforms data from your insulin pump, blood glucose meter, and self-reported logbook data into easy-to-understand treatment reports that you and your healthcare provider can use to better manage your diabetes.
Enhanced Bolus Wizard Calculator, where you are able to customize the insulin action curve between 2 and 8 hours.
New Home Screen Icons showing time of day, battery level, and reservoir level.
An overview of your insulin delivery (basal and bolus), food intake, and blood sugar levels.

The patented Bolus Wizard^® calculator, which uses your pre-set information, your blood glucose reading, your carbohydrate entry and the amount of active insulin still in your body to suggest a bolus amount for you. With this calculator, there is no more math or guesswork to worry about.
