Who is Lenny the Lion?

Lenny the Lion is Medtronic's ambassador for children's diabetes education worldwide. He was "born" in Europe in 2006 and is now proudly entering the United States. Lenny was diagnosed with diabetes at a young age and is an insulin pump user. Lenny does not let his diabetes hold him back- he continues to be a strong and active lion. He uses his vast knowledge of this subject to educate children about diabetes and good diabetes management.

Where can I find him?

Lenny is making his debut appearance in the United States as part of this video contest. You will soon find him in many more locations such as his very own Lenny website, Lenny iPhone applications and also at diabetes camps and conferences. Lenny will be formally launched in select pediatric clinics across the nation starting May 2010. Stay tuned for future Lenny programs and activities taking place near you!
